​I started DJ'ing in 1982, I was 15 Years old when I played my first official event.  Since then I have been playing weddings, socials, parties for special anniversaries and birthdays, corporate functions such as grand openings, Christmas parties and give back to the community by being part charity events like THE RELAY FOR LIFE and my own event GOPHER THE CURE. 

 

My favourite era of music is the 80's, but I play all kinds of music from Top 40 & Hip Hop to Classic Rock and Country.  Music is for everybody, it should provide a feeling of happiness.  There is nothing like hearing a song and saying, "hey I remember that, I was doing (fill in your memory here) when this came out."  Making people happy is my motivation!

 

Gopher The Music originated because I wanted to give Brides and Grooms the best possible service, making their weddings something to remember.

This year Gopher The Music Mobile Wedding Entertainment received the LUX Magazine's Global Wedding Award as the Best Wedding Entertainment company in Southern Manitoba!  Very Proud!!!
